Manager on Duty: Dorothy Bridge

Dorothy joined Seniors First in September 2006, and is based in the beautiful Hunter Valley wine region of NSW. After a long and distinguished career in human resources working in international trade, Dorothy also worked for the National  Seniors Assocition before joining Seniors First.  Several years ago she moved back to the peace of the country after ten stressful years in Sydney, and enjoys helping seniors improve their quality of life.  

“It’s very rewarding work, actually,” says Dorothy.

“I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.  Often people aren’t aware that they have so many options available to them. Reverse mortgages, or equity release, can make life more comfortable, especially if you’re on the pension. I enjoy showing people how to release their equity safely, and  it’s great to see so many people living life again.”

Dorothy has 2 kids, 5 granchildren. She follows the Wallabies, loves travelling the outback, and enjoys visiting art galleries in Broken Hill during her spare time.
